The 2005 Stallion fee for cooled Semen is $1000.00
(includes $250 booking fee) + $250.00 Shipped Semen Fee.

To reserve a breeding:
1. Mare owner must furnish Stallion owner with a copy of mare's registration certificate.
2. A $250.00 Booking fee is payable upon return of this contract to guarantee a reservation. The booking fee is non-refundable.
The following fees must be paid before any "Cooled Semen" will be shipped.
1. $500.00 remaining balance of Stallion breeding fee. This fee is non-refundable.
2. $250.00 Chute / Collection / Shipped Semen fee. Includes Fed-Ex overnight priority shipping in the continental U.S. (outside the continental U.S. shipping fees will vary and mare owner will pay these charges)
3. If "Skipahead Kermit" should die or become unfit for service before mare is in foal all monies paid will be refunded. No refunds will be made for semen already shipped.
The $250.00 chute/collection/shipped semen fee will cover 1 shipment to your mare. If your mare is not in foal after 1st shipment, mare owner will pay another $250.00 Chute/Collection/shipped semen fee to receive another shipment. (this fee is our actual cost )
4. Unpaid bills owed by the mare owner will result in a hold of mares name on breeding report. The mare owner shall be responsible for any and all attorney fees and court costs necessary to collect any unpaid fees.
5. Mare owners Veterinarian must request Semen 48 hours prior to when the mare needs to be inseminated. If Airlines or Federal Express delivery is not available within 24 hour period additional notice will be requested. In-house mares have priority. Stallion owner is not responsible for untimely delivery or condition of cooled shipped semen and shall not be held responsible for the costs arising from shipments lost or damaged or delayed in transit. Stallion owner does not guarantee that semen will be available the day of your request; we will do everything possible to satisfy our clients.
6. Mare owner is responsible for:
A) completing and sending to the appropriate breed association , the paperwork upon receipt of the Cooled Transported Semen ;as pertains to the rules of the association AQHA rule #209 and APHA rule #RG165.
B) Blood typing or DNA testing mare and foal with correct breed association at mare owners expense.(See APHA rule #RG-160 or AQHA rule #209.
C) Giving Rhino Flu vaccination at the 5th,7th and 9th month of pregnancy.
7. Stallion owner agrees to Guarantee a live foal,which is defined as one that stands and nurses the mare. If a live foal is not produced because either the mare proves not to be in foal the year bred or loses her foal , the mare owner will be entitled to a breeding at no charge the following year only, to the same mare(unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by both parties.) Mare owner will pay $250.00 chute/collection /shipped semen fee. This guarantee will apply only if Stallion owner is notified within 1 week of the foals death; this notice must be accompanied by a statement from a licensed Veterinarian. THIS RE-BREEDING IS NOT TRANSFERABLE.
8. Before any cooled semen will be shipped for a re-breed, the mare owner must pay the following fees and terms as set before in this contract shall apply.
A) $250.00 Chute/Collection/Shipped Semen fee.
9. If mare owner should fail to pay all required fees for the next year, the contract would become null and void.
10. Stallion owner will consider a reasonable end to breeding season as July 30, 2004. Any period past this date must be agreed upon by mare owner and stallion owner.
11. Mare owner will send picture of foal for stallion book.
12. When mare owner signs and returns this contract , this will be a binding contract between both parties , subject to the above terms and conditions.
